Here's something you might not have known about Isabella Rossellini: "I was always fascinated by the infinite, strange and 'scandalous' ways that insects copulate." This series of very short films (about one minute each)-conceived, written and featuring Rossellini, and co-directed with Jody Shapiro-takes up this fascination with a funny and insightful study of the curious ways various bugs "make love." Created with the ubiquity of mobile screens in mind (cellphones, iPods and the like), a selection of the series will be presented by Hot Docs prior to the opening night presentations, as well as with selected special presentations.

I never knew the sex-lives of insects could be soooooooooo amazing. Wonderfully delicious filmmaking folks. Kudo's to Rossellini, who both stars in and co-directs this film. This film makes me want to see more directorial efforts by her. Ciao folks!!!!
