After 65 years of marriage Hans and Kerstin still cannot agree on wallpaper. One day, behind Kerstin's back, Hans hangs a hideous pattern of flowers and birds to enhance a feature wall in their summer house. This seemingly innocuous décor decision puts their relationship to the test and exposes the secret of their long-lasting union-change. Adaptation to change is a key ingredient to their partnership and its longevity. Paradise is a powerful and loving portrait of an old married couple-bright, funny, touching and provocative. The pair's bickering, battles and concessions colour an image of honest affection that reminds us how we often mistreat and take for granted those we cherish most.

I'm so glad I didn't miss this one. It's such a good example of a loving, lasting relationship - and it's so very funny! It's the last part of a trilogy and I'll be looking to add all three of them to my collection once they're released.

Touching and poignant, yes; but not to be overlooked, this movie is very funny, designed with deft comedic timing.
